1986 scarab II questions

I have a 1986 scarab II 30 footer was originally a twin bbc trs boat. The boat was stripped when I acquired it, but the Question I have is how would I find out what trans it was setup for? Thanks for the help.

Measure from the motor mounts to the transom assembly.
