Scarab 23 scs vs DCB 24
 

I know this section might be a little biased towards the Scarab but here it goes.

1999 Scarab 23 scs with a 500hp 540cid, about 100hrs on motor.
1998 DCB 24 with a 600hp 525sc also about 100hrs since rebuild, (factory motor)

Both have brave 1 drives etc. and similar condition. The wife likes the scs interior better but the dcb cabin better so shes fine either way. I'm thinking the DCB would have a better chance of breaking the bravo drive and I hear the 525sc is pretty hard on fuel plus needs premium. (not so much the cost but the availability on the lake) Both boats are about the same asking price. The DCB books higher but we all know a boats only worth what people will pay. Which is better and why?

If your gong to run in any type of ruff water the Scarab will give you a better ride quality no question..

Well the DCB sold so that helps my choices lol
