Scarab Vinyl Manufacturer's Name
 

Here's a mind twister......twenty years ago, I had a back seat recovered in a 1985 Scarab II. Other than the stitching pulling, the entire boat is STILL in fairly good shape. The guy matched the upholstery perfectly and said that all Wellcraft boats used a certain brand name of vinyl.

I am having it completely redone in Oct, and since the original vinyl lasted 36 years, it must be great stuff.

Anyone know the brand name of the vinyl Wellcraft used in the Scarabs of that era, and if they are still in business? Dan? (I'm too lazy to call Wellcraft)
