has anyone ever ran across a 40 named stress test?
the boat was built for cyndi lauper in '86?

Your kidding!!! Thats what i named my 1984 Scarab!!! And here all this time i thought i had an original name! :(

boat was a slug but, it looked good. i have always wondered what happened to it.

help me out guys. i haven't been paying attention lately: has wellcraft stopped making scarabs?

Stopped manufacturing last fall, or near end of summer maybe. Hasn't been any significant press, just unconfirmed rumors which include Larry Smith taking the molds to west coast and possibly building a 43' Poker Run edition? The info was in this forum somewhere.

Apparently Wellcraft still has a license to use the name on the center consoles. Would be nice to hear from Larry Smith, perhaps Powerboat has tried to get an interview.
