Looking at buying bigger boat just wanting to know the differnce

I don't know what age you're talking about but if you ment 80's, here are two pics.

the 377 is the same hull as the 38. the two basic boats are the flat deck ( also called the 377 special, 38 KV) and the raised deck ( 377) the flat decks had side by side motors, a little more cabin length, but less cabin head room. Most of the raised deck boats had staggered motors,( but I saw one that had side by side motors) and more cabin head room. From the bottom the hulls are the same. Both boats measure the same length 37' 7"
