Imco Shorties on 31' Scarab?

Has anyone tried the IMCO shorter lowers on a 31' Scarab? I have a 1990 31' that performs well. With Mirage props I have no cavitation coming up on plane or in turns.

The drives are very deep by today's standards. The shorties coupled with Bravo 4 blade props seem like a nice way to pick up speed.

Would greatly appreciate anyone's experience with this project. Thank you!

Just purchased a used 1990 31 scarab and don't know much about it?? Would love to see pictures of yours if possible??

I did them on my 1992 34 and love the improvement in handling.
I didn't gain much speed though ( 2 MPH at best )
Handling improved drastically ( boat flies flat now - NO bowrise when hitting a rogue wave )
