Wow...well the year is 2020 and I’m wishing I would’ve seen this a lil sooner, like six months ago before I bought the 1997 Scarab 22 I now own... First of all, big props to ya Peter for taking on such a project, and seeing it through, and for documenting it all and passing on all the information and education along the way!
I’d have to say that my ‘97 w the 454 is one of the better builds, cause while it has some issues that are gonna be major issues after another summer or two, for now it stills seems pretty sound and will still run around all over the lake in a lil chop at 52-53 GPS with no problem... but the floor is getting pretty soft at the edge of the back seat...and I’m not gonna do anymore investigating after seeing this post...lol
