Thought you'd be getting at least 80 before tweaking.

Hello Syclone,

What's chime walk??? Is there an easy description? I've heard of 'tick-tock', where a boat rolls back and forth on it's longitudinal axis. Is this the same thing?

Thanks,

Tom

But maybe not after seeing how ****y there made.
Thanks guys now I have to start looking for something else

Apparently some years were better than others. You should do some more research before you say they are all poorly built.

Question Re: ´95 Scarab 22 Re-Rig

I like the 22 scarab it is a great all around boat. I had one 3 years ago every body loved it but theirs allways somebody to say back in the 90`s wellcraft was not doing so good, and they started cutting corners. Thus the pictures I saw on this site, broken bulk heads, cheap wood & STAPLES to hold it all together!I still like the boat but it is something to think about @ 60+ MPH. If every one had the time or money to do a total re-rig like that. Then who cares how the boat was built at the factory.

I had a '94. It was my first new, real boat. Had the small block in it,but it was a great starter boat. Since then I have been in hundreds of kinds of performance boats, but that little hull is still one of my favorites.

Good luck with the project.
