Wellcraft F1Scarab custom 28??
I have never heard of it . Maybe a poker run edition ? I know the 28 scarab excells pretty well. Maybe it was slated for a race boat?

Probably has a bolted on swim step and they are counting that 2 feet.

I dont think they made a 28' Scarab in 2000

But I did here that there was a 28 Excell race boat back in the day.

I would love to see photos of it.

Back in late 80's Dan Archer race a 26 Scarab which in 88 Wellcraft put a molded in swim platform in the top cap mold and the bottom section bolted under it to the transom.thats where they got the 28 Scarab excell.Thats what I was told.

I talked to him once when I started doing mine . I think he said they had 700 something in it . the other thing was it had a high x dim. I think 13 inches?
