It wasn't mine, it was my parents. I think they sold WAY LOW, they sold for 22k it was a 1996 280 SS Bowrider, with twin 350 MAGS. Had about 600 hours I think? It was about an 8 maybe 7 on 1-10 scale, so wasn't perfect. But I think they could have gotten more.

I agree they were definitely some of the best looking. Only problem was the cockpit, for a sea ray was really messed up. Normally they made great use of the cockpit, but I think the round seat would be in the way, I have yet to be on one yet so I do not know, if anyone has would you mind chiming in to help inform me?

Even though I currently have a Chris Craft, this post was a very interesting read. I have a "family boat" a 1997 21' Ultra cuddy with a 280 hp Volvo 350. I run around 58-60 top end with a medium to light load load. The boat was a compromise between my wife and I as we have two young kids, etc. I wanted a flat out go-fast, she a pontoon/ deck boat. My current boat has a decent 21 degree hull, and it cuts chop and rides nice. I like the idea of adding my own touches to it to tastefully give it more of a performance feel, like updated gauges, steering wheel, stainless prop, new dash panels ( fake wood grain to fancy for me, haha). Nothing to over the top, but just enough. For the small lake I am on, 60 is fast and respectable for a family cruiser. I think there is a big market for this, as the cost of new boats is huge and many people need more of an all around option. So, good post! Rob

Thought I would bring this old thread back to life....

Anyone running something "different" in a SeaPig? I have a stock 2001 260 Bowrider with a 454 mag(385hp mpi), Bravo 1 and Corsa quick & quiet exhaust. She rumbles and does mid 50's which aint bad for 5200lbs.
