Changa Seat

I am in the process of reglassing the seats. I figured I would not be able to find the originals. How are yours holding up? Did you do anything else to make them stronger? I was considering routing out a couple of channels in the back and the bottom to insert aluminum rails, welded together at the bottom. Is that overkill?

Five years and still holding up. They take some abuse as the boat spends alot of time in the AIR.:drink:

I had mine totally replaced. Mine was a 2 piece with one side broken. I had it replaced with another 2 piece with a center door. Man that was convenient. I had a friend do it, he does this on the side. He does great work. I dont have any pics on this computer otherwise I would post. I took away from the nostalgic look but it was very functional.

That sounds great. I might look in to that if the insurance company sells me the boat back cheap enough. It had a slight mishap last weekend involving an underwater obstacle. Ouch!
