That looks like a #6 drive from that photo.
Seems most of the big power photos of those Aussie ski nut boats (they're badasses), they have #6's on them.

Since it's still winter up here in the Northeast, all boating is theoretical right now.
I'm trying to figure out the X measurement on my Pachanga 22.

from what I've read, somewhere around 3.5" is about where it should be, it looks like I'm more like 6.75"

The X dimension is the engine crankshaft center to the bottom of the boat. If I remember correctly a bravo input shaft to prop shaft is 21.875. So if you’re measuring 6.75 from the bottom to the propshaft center your X is 21.875 - 6.75 = 15.125.

6.75 below the bottom is a good spot for a good three blade like a mirage plus. Start going up higher then you need to add blades which can then lead to issues like stern lift, poor trim etc. If your boat handles well with the 3 blade and has good trim traction I suggest leaving it as is.

We had a Mirage 29P on this fall. She got on plane fine, but over 75 mph it got pretty rowdy. We sent that prop to BB Blades for some help with stability at speed.
We're waiting for Spring to test the modified Mirage. We also have a Mirage Plus 29P to try. Come on Spring.

So far, the BBlades modified Mirage 29 is the most manageable at speed. We tried the Mirage Plus 29. It seemed to drop us 300 RPMs or so, and made her more difficult to handle.

So this one is on it's way back to Brett at Bblades for a repair. In the meantime, we have a Mirage Plus 29P on. The Plus has dropped us 300-400 RPMs.
It seems to act more like a 31P, maybe time for more boost to get our RPMs and speed back up?

94 mph at 6050 rpms
I think we've reached the limit for our lower. We previously ran 93 mph at 5800 rpms.
The slip is way up.
