Any 260 Bow Rider owners here?
 

Just bought a sweet 2001 with the 454 mag 385hp with corsa quick & quiet as a good compromise with the wife over our current 1994 Donzi 22 classic which in agreement is pretty useless except to look and drive awesome. Was wondering what you get for performance. So far with a phone GPS, a full tank, 2 guys, bimini up going into a strong current and wind I was a tad over 50. In flatter conditions I am thinking at least 55. Not quite the 65-67 I used to have but good for a 5200lb beast. I don't ever drive WFO so I am more concerned with cruise. I am seeing roughly 30-32.5mph at 2900-3k running a 21 mirage plus.

Anyone with a 502? What does the stock 310 duoprop do?

I can't believe I just stumbled on this but I have a 260 BR. Mine is a 2001 6.2 MPI Bravo 3. 2001 was the first year for the 6.2 as a base motor, your motor was a base package also. I have the quick and quiet but I call it the quick and loud and louder since none of the exhaust actually goes through the transom at idle with it closed anyway. I fixed this by adding an additional set of exhaust cutouts, now it is silent and then slowly loud.

Top speed for me is about 52 with a really light load. Not to bad for an 320hp 800 hour engine and a non performance hull.
