Default 1989 Pachanga 22 Transducer Location

I am installing a depth sounder in my 1989 Pachanga 22 and wanted to install the transducer inside the hull.
Does anyone have a Pachanga 22 with the transducer inside the hull?
Does anybody now the best location for the in hull transducer?
My understanding is that the transducer will not work shooting through the hull if it is a cored hull. Is the pachanga 22 a solid hull or cored hull?
Any advise would be appreciated.

I had a P22 and it was glued right under oil pan.
