Thanks I will show this to my glass shop and see what he thinks. I am not going to do the job my self , I would break the glass for sure. that alone has me worried about even trying to mess with trim...

Yes the engines do need a T stat. they need to run a minimum temp to operate properly. If the engine is too cold and you beat on it you could do a lot of damage.

Did you know that Grew boats also made Wellcraft boats before the Chris Craft deal. All the Canadian built Chris Craft boats before 1988 that I have seen have been of great quality.

even out r.p.m....

You are draging one gear case like an anchor with only one motor running. the v6 gear ratio will stand up just fine, but you will need to prop up to not over rev the v8 . your speed will not change....

I have a 260 stinger 1986[stock 260 hp mercs]. the book said dry weight is 5500 lb . I think not, loaded with fuel/water/gear it is on a 8000 lb trailer and the fit is very nice. not to much trailer...
