I Have a 79 scarab 300 30 ft Had the complete Transom replaced new 2 1/2 thick, Center Stringer all the way to the bulkhead, both side stringers half way to bulkhead and both holes left...

Can someone tell me if it is practical to put turbos on a small block. I have mercs. 383 mfi the hourse power is 325 at the prop with 390 lbs of tourqe What could I gain

Good Luck. Have you decided what to power it with, I wrote you about the 383 s. Mine are ready, just have to get it in the water. Hope to have some info soon.

OK Thanks I read in the 383s specs. that it was sea trialed in a 86 sea ray pachanga, did not give size or weight w/ the 383, bravo one drive and a 24 pitch prop. the boat hit a top speed of 63 mph...

they have 325 hp at the prop they are the mercs. 6.2 whjch are bored larger and longer stroke
