Did you ever get the problem resolved, and if so what was your final solution, i bought the other motor that you didnt get, i dropped it in my Cheetah last night, but dont have anything hooked up...

i would say they are not standard, they clear the hatch on my baja by about 4 inches, im not sure how your velocity is set up as far as clearance goes
