My friends boat was doing same thing. We pulled the electric pump for the fuel injection replaced it and ran perfect. hope this helps

what is too hot for a 454mpi engine. running 170-180 wide open, port engine running 160. New impeller, back flushed system. AM I being paranoid or is it ok

454 mpi overheating

I replaced impeller,runs 160 at idle,that is where it would stay running wide open before the impeller took a dump. Now runing wide open temp gets up to 180 maybe even hotter but never let it get...

outdrive not lowering

My starboard drive is lowering very very slow unless i am powering forward,goes up just fine same speed as the port. Do I have pump issue or cylinder problem???? Looking for some advice thanks

No dry starts,back flushed cooler and got some...

No dry starts,back flushed cooler and got some pieces out,wandering about thermostat and any other components or will the small pieces make it out the exhaust

It was the impeller.got it out of the water today and there was nothing left of the impeller.it was replaced last year so wondering why it was destroyed other engine is running at 150 to 160...

engine heating up past idle

I have 454 mpi overheating as soon as you get the engine past idle. I am thinking impeller any other ideas before i tear into it thanks

bravo1 trim not going down

I have a bravo1 that is going up just fine but will only lower under power,any ideas thanks
