This is how its done in all the transmission boats accept the older TRS set up. ( like Thunder said )
They had 2 ears coming off that...

it looks like a 31 foot corsa hull with deck i dont know. but i dont think its a race boat because of the hatches on the deck, it may be was at one time ..but dont know.

sorry, but i dont really understand the weight part..if the dart is heavier then the merlin dry, then the merlin would have a little larger water passages?
But why would the merlin wet be heavier...

If u have a CW and a CCW drive then there is no need to change anything on those.
Find 2 nice regular BW C 72's or Hubers ...and get-r-done !
Oh, and most all of them are 1:1 ratio.
