Distributor installation on 350 MPI

Help this thing is driving me crazy. Any one know how to fine tune the vortech style distrubutor? It is installed and motors running but I have a slight mis at higher RPMs.

Does anyone know if the Merc 383 long block will accept the 350 PMI stuff. ie fuel system and computer or will new injectors , rail and intake need to be purchased?
I hate to buy then need new...
