Looks like i broke my new XR 1.50 ratio drive. Im running approximately 750-800 hp with a blown 502. Mirage trovare 257. What should i do? Can i beef up this XR or run something else. What will give...

Drive Problems

Mirage 257, blown 502, MC XR drive.

Went out today. Running about 5k rpms in light chop. Everything was hooked up good and going about 75mph. All of the sudden sounded like it popped out of gear....

Yes i verified it with another tach already and two gps units. All agree.
Signature is a propeller manufacturer.

Here is what i have.

1990 Mirange Trivare 257
502 shortblock with a pretty big hydralic roller blower cam (dont know the specs)
Flat top forged pistons
Everything from here down is brand new....

Yea, we just ran to CP Perfornance and they swapped everything out no questions asked. They are such a great company (CP) and i know they own Hardin Marine so i am going to run thier whole system.
