I did replace the MAP sensor, didnt help the issue, to answer ? 1 you can smell gas at idle and there is a sheen behind the boat. I did find out however the headers are leaking back after shut down...

Yea I changed the cam and also put headers on, the ecm was sent out to be reprogrammed by an expert in tunes in Kentucky I think

I had my engine rebuilt, since reinstalling it, it runs very very rich at idle. i had the motor scanned found a bad map sensor, havnt run the boat yet since replacing it, the scan showed the IAP...

Does anyone know if I can use a standard GM map sensor from an auto store or does it have to be from mercury? Not sure if there is a difference other than $50.

Engine Guru's this one is for you, I just had my engine rebuilt I have put approx 5-6 hours on it. this was a total rebuilt from the ground up with a mild tune with a cam change and computer flash...

Bravo shift issue

I had my drive unit off to replace the engine, put it back on and now it won't shift, got stuck in forward and won't go in reverse. Any thoughts on how to fix the issue?

I have a 94 - 29 footer, I currently have the motor out of the boat do to poor running at the end of the season. I am debating increasing the horsepower from stock 415 to somewhere between 515-550....
