Have 35 now and thinking 42 for staggered 525’s. Towing and handling have come to mind, although we boat same place mostly. Haven’t looked at boats much since I got the 35 in 2018.

Pump no longer available. Anyone have part number replacement. Got a 8m0110722. Doesn’t fit bracket. Is a recall replacement for 8.2, got it from merc.

Looked closer at mine today with auto mechanic friend. Pump has bushing and no bearing. Bushing seized to shaft and spun in housing. Probably why it got so hot. So don’t know what happen first,...

With twin 496 ho’s, Latham steering, do both motors control steering? Blew seal on port side, lost most of the oil. Can anything cause this to happen all of a sudden or it happens. Never leaked...

Tow little over 2 hrs one way to tickfaw. Nice to have at home to get ready for next trip, but also risk trailer breakdowns. Lakes closer by, but not for fountain.

Didn’t get to finish post. Like I said before, son is good help. Can even get truck and back to ramp. Actually won’t be 12 till next May. Think we can handle it.

Thanks for replies. Boat is fountain 35 ex. Funny thing is my wife really doesn’t want it. We really don ‘t anchor out too much, so we may just bring couple umbrellas for th no wake zones.
