I got a chance to test a bravo 1 24pLh prop. I am able to turn 5900-6000. I didn't pick up much speed 74-75mph now with 3/4 tank. So would that tell me the drive maybe to deep or something else ?...

how big of an issue does the drive shower pick up tubes play. The tubes do stick out pretty far under the cav plate, could they be causing a drag?

Thanks John,

Did that 26cv you were testing have a stock lower unit on the drive? So if my torque is falling off too early it could just be in the design of the cam and engine setup?

I did notice looking closer at the prop there is some cupping work done to it. This would reduce the rpms a little also wouldn't it?
