I couldn't tell you if it is the same set up , But I can tell you My fix was took back to shop they discovered the Anti syphon valves weren't cooperating ,and also im using ethanol free gas now , ...

I thought it was gauge also but it's a brand new one and doin the same as the old one did. Thanks for the info I'm going to see if I can find that second sender and possibly maybe the connection.
