Im running an IMCO SCX. The lower has slowed the boat down by 15mph. The X power is shorter and runs faster by a mile. Its a true dry sump drive! Im ready to buy are trade my SCX for a X power.

That’s odd that you had issues with the 5 blade. Boat should of ran better and faster. What pitch, gear ratio and RPM where you getting 4% slip?

Those are good numbers. Have your tried a 5 blade? That will help get you on plane. Are you still 2" above the bottom? Im thinking the boat should run 110+ with the 1.34 and a 5 blade maximus.

i have a 26 daytona. Prop height is 1 1/4" above the lowest point of the sponsons. Im running a -2 scx lower with a cleaver. I need to either change entire drive and raise the x dimension a few more...
