Outdrive

I don’t think even the XR is rated for that much horsepower. I’m running 700 and blew up an XR drive. Twice. I’m running a Teague platinum which I believe is rated at 800 and I’ve had zero problems....

Does too much pressure affect your temp? I don’t have a water pressure gauge on my cluster and the scan tool I have doesn’t give water pressure.

IMCO SC Lower

Someone told me that you could drill out and enlarge the intake opening on the nose cone of the IMCO SC lower to improve water pick up. Is this correct and has anyone done it.

I’m assuming what they propose is a standard depth for the bravo one X but when you start throwing additional horsepower at it, I’m sure the standard is out the window.
