Continuation of old thread.

Not sure if anyone will see this but anyone ever find out what the solution to this problem was for bouncing tach with merc 496? I'm having similar issue except my tach moves when key is turned on...

Just taking a shot out there. Did anyone solve that surging issue with the 496? Just curious as I am experiencing something similar.
