I'm running scarab 400 with ssm 3s what's the benefit if any to running exstention boxes I've already raised the x dimensions in the transom from the trs height getting ready to put it back together...

I'm pretty sure there 1.5 to 1 the problem is I bought them used from a rudder race boat so the guy I bought them from cut the skegs off 2in or so from the speed cone so I'll have to welder skegs on...
