The picture makes it look a lot bigger than it is. The engine is a 1993 Cosworth Mercury 275hp. The boat runs 71-72mph. Thanks for the compliment. It is a blast to drive.

We run it mainly in the sound, Mystic River to Watch Hill, sometimes in the Niantic River and Bay. Will be taking it to Wachoug Pond as well.


We are located in the Mystic CT, Westerly RI, area.

Talking 1st time Sutphen owner

Hey guys I just purchased my first Sutphen. Well at least my first, my father owned 2, a 17' and a 20'. Mine is a 1981 20' with a 1993 Mercury 275. I got hooked when we had our 20 and was lucky...
