the motors are on jack plate cmc, diamond marine modified them so you only need to use a wrench to adjust them on the outside.It takes me no more than 5 minutes for both motors.My jack plates have...

The motors are great the way Diamond did them.The motors are very reliable.They shift smooth,as long as you have them adjusted properly.There great in the rough,and fly in the flat.I wouldn't change...

The 300x is great motor,but if you want to run in rough water, top end kilo runs the 2.5 280's are the way to go.To get top speed your going to have to mod.them a little.I have run stock 280's @121...
