I believe it is the other way around, black motors @ the crank, blue motors @ the prop.

When shifting into forward it takes about 4-5 seconds to engage. It goes in real smooth, just takes a long time. Shifting into reverse is instant. This just started but seems to be getting worse....

A buddy of mine with twins has an outdrive that drops down slowly overnight while parked on the trlr. It also will not stay trimmed while under load. He can't find any visible leaks and is not losing...
