also prop would not turn, tried it locked in...

got in area clear of docks and bosts,i started...

got in area clear of docks and bosts,i started engine, tried to shift, tried to force shift plate with broom, no luck

Yes, the cable broke on control to shift plate....

Yes, the cable broke on control to shift plate. the cable from the shift plate to outdrive looks to be connected.

Yes, this weekend saturday, pulling in to my dock, my shift cable snapped almost burried my boat into the dock. A little luck, missed everything.
