Title said 1979, and the vin is raised because I had some holes filled in and the transom regelcoated. Boats a 1979. I can’t explain the last letter or digit but it’s a 1979.

I’ve owned it and it is a 1979, I had a picture of it for sale in 1979 somewhere. Also it had the small mercury transmissions mated to 330hp mercruisers. Those trans stopped being produced/installed...

no I’m using mercurys setup that the later model 500 efi used as a lift pump to get fuel to the electric pump. They are mechanical pumps.

I did it but completely had new engines built and just used the 500efi accessories and part of the wiring harness. Best move I made getting Rid of the efi. I’m old school so I like tuning on...

I run mine the way the instruction at the battery switch tell you to. Never had any problems running it that way. I’m sure there will be varying opinions on this.

Thank you so very much, I take pride in my boats and you won’t find a better maintained mystique/boat than this one. Lives in my garage in the winter and boat lift in the summer. 55hrs on new motors...
