I'm installing a pre-oiler pump and replacing the small factory hose with a larger diamter hose and fitting. I'll know what size it is when I pull it out but I was hoping someone would know the size...

My father just purchase a boat with a 496 and a Bravo III XR drive. Merc says the XR drive can handle up to 525 HP. You might be pushing it on a stock III with that HP

I spoke to CMI yesterday and they are currently testing the new system on a boat as we speak. Their biggest concern is reversion so they are watching it closely.

I used to use the MasterLube unit. Then I changed it out for an electric pump. It works much better. You don't need to worry about turning the swith off in time and running out of air. Also can...

Thanks for the input, guys. I was thinking the motor was not going to be a strong selling point. Too bad, it has run flawlessly from day one, 90 mph.

I'm going to have the Raylar kit installed which will bring the HP to about 525-550, so I'm just curious. Always looking for that little extra.

It seems that, unless you go for the 600HP package, the stock exhaust will do just fine.
