Re: Bravo 1 upper compatible with Bravo 3 Lower?

Yes, your correct. That is a better way of saying it. My engine is a SBC 383 about 375hp. The boat is not meant to be a rocket ship, so I guess keep that in mind. I want the Bravo 3 lower to improve...

Re: motor builders advice

A knock sensor would keep things together, it indicates harmful engine knock that is caused by lean fuel mixtures, bad fuel, too much spark advance or too much manifold pressure. 5 to 7 pound is all...

Re: motor builders advice

Formula is right about centrifugal blowers. They belong on high RMP race application. BUT! You must take a look at the whipple chargers. You get off idle full boost. A very nice flat torque curve....

Re: How does gear change affect need for new prop pitch?

I did find a good deal but first I was reading Alpha Info @ Sterndrives.com They say this is the gear ratio you would want to keep the drive live with more power. This was more of a preventive move...

Thank you but i'm being advised that this would not be a good choice for my set-up. I should stick with HD1.50:1.

Re: Early style head swap for Vortech? Need help please.
