Hydromotive or Hearing?

Going with a new set of props and have decided between Hydromotive or Hearing. Hearing is considerably more but I have been told they will perform better for my particular boat and set-up. Any...

Re: Dumb things people say to you at the boat ramp

How fast,
How much,
But the best question is, how many will it sleep? I like that so I can say...sleeps 2; f----s at least 4 or more!

Re: Fountain vs. Formula - Honest Question; Sincere Answers Appreciated

I made the change from a Formula to a Fountain. I liked the Formula, my wife loved it, but I felt like it was "jack of all trades, master of none." I think the Formula has a better interior, more...

Re: Ordering a 38... what power?

I guess I need to add that I'm also looking at the 38 Donzi ZR. At the Miami show the Donzi guys guarantee 105 MPH with Merc 600's.

Fountain or Donzi?

Ordering a 38... what power?

I am about to order a new 38' Lightning. A must is to bust 100MPH. I don't think the new Merc 600's will cut it but don't want to go to the 850's with 6 drives. So... Sterling 750's (carb only)?...

Re: Miami Boat Show

I heard the Donzi guys saying the Merc 600's would push the 38' to 105 when dialed in... If true, that might make me forget about my Fountain.

Re: ?496 Mag Ho Or Hp 525 Efi?

If fuel economy is a concern forget boats and get a harley. As for me and my family, 525's are worth the money. Of course, if you are a real speed freak you'll still want more power by the end of...

Call it anything you want. If it has fast boats I'll watch it and support...

Re: 35 Lightning Hatch Mirror's

The vibration could be a problem if not installed well. As for heat, the Fountains are so well ventilated there is no problem.

Re: Anyone know a good boat mechanic on Grand Lake in OK?

Welcome to Oklahoma. Coming from Austin you must have played on Travis. I hear that's a great lake. Looks like you got plenty of good advice on a mechanic around Grand. As for your supercharging...

Re: 35 (Single step) owners -speed#'s

I don't want to... but I think you're right. The cost to make those changes will be around $8K+. It would be dissapointing to spend the $ for nothing. Even if it did work I'm still shy of 100. I...

Re: 35 (Single step) owners -speed#'s

I made the switch to a Fountain from a Baja. My Baja buddies were just jealous.

From what I hear, a change to 1.36...

Re: Dallas Boat Show

Agreed... a little dissapointing. I drove down from Oklahoma trying to shake some winter blues. Had a good visit with Derebery that made it worth the trip. For seeing go-fast boats it beats the...

Re: Best Nose Cone

I had the Eddie nose cone on a previous boat and didn't see much difference in speed but the boat would only hit 82. Out of the hole and handling at mid-range was not as good; didn't like it. If...

Re: Sea Strainers

I have the Marine Machine strainers and they seem to work well, easy to clean but kinda expensive. Almost all of my time is in fresh water but you would be surprised what they pick up in a lake. A...

Re: how strong are bravo ones

Be somewhat gentle when getting on and off the throttles. If leaving the water often go easy on re-entry and your Bravo I should work out OK for a while.

I agree with zt260, start looking for an...
