Best riding of any 25 foot boat in my opinion. Really only needs a single big block. If the price is right and you don't mind getting a little dirty have fun.

Unless you just want to go fast, I would go with X plus 1". That hull if I remeber correctly has a rounded over keel. If it is V'd to the heel go plus 1-1/2 to 1-5/8". That get the cavitation plate...

This may be a bit of a long shot but I have been to hell and back with my 6.2 with under 60 hours on it. Pull the distributor cap and have a look at the inside top for both corrosion and tiny hair...

You have 2 pumps. One near the water separator...

You have 2 pumps. One near the water separator (low pressure) and one inside the cool fuel box (high pressure). Pressure testing is done at the schader valve up top and should be 38-42 psi.

A long time ago an old mechanic told me to use grease. Over the last 20 years I have done 3 bravo plates and never had a leak. Always easy to remove if necessary.

The risers are what they call dry fitted. there are no water chambers to align between the manifold and the riser. Only the exhaust flows between the two.
