I looks like we will have at least 7 Velocities at the Shootout. There are still rooms available at Tan-Tar-A. The more Velocities the merrier.

The "Top Gun" last year ran 201mph. I understand that there are at least three other boats coming to the Shootout with the intent of out running that 201 mark.

I talked with the Missouri Water Patrol this morning regarding open dry exhaust systems.. I asked how the rules apply for the Shootout. He told me that you have a 24 hour window prior to the race...

We are thinking of having some activities earlier in the week for Velocity owners. Don't know what yet. Probably some tours of the lake, shopping (great shops big outlet mall, just ask my wife)...
