A 7.3 is the easiest diesel motor to service and they run forever. Also being an 03 which was the last year it has become very hard to find one because all of the emission bull**** the newer motors...

SCT is mainly for a 6.0. But you can get custom tunes for a 7.3 as well. You need a 6 position chip so you can shift on the fly instead of loading and unloading like you have to do with a tuner.

Make sure the fuel filters were changed every 10k. If they were not the injectors have probaly been damaged. The 6.0 lives or dies off of fuel pressure. :cool:

I would also run the VIN# through...
