The diesel is rated 100 h.p less on the mercuiser website.

Bravo x vs. Bravo x diesel

Is there any difference in a Bravo x drive and a Bravo X diesel drive? The only thing i can find is that maybe the gear ratio is different in some models.

What is the Max H.P a Bravo X drive can handle? I was told that they were made with heavy duty upper gears that keep the floor from breaking out. Is this true? Are there any other differnces? I need...
