Seabird - Custom???? Anyone know more about these?

I found my fathers old boat and finally figured out what it is.....a 1974 Custom Seabird 26' with an 8' beam. Anyone know where I can find more information our about seabird?

why would someone just leave this boat. I must assume it was storage fees that pilled up and they just decided to leave it.

Yes, My Dad said that it was a Balsa Core hull....and would rave about how well the boat went through rough water. He said that if he was heading into the wind the hull would just float. He figures...

Whose Brownie? See if he knows, because your right the seabird is similar, but I have found nothing exactly like it. I have to assume it wouldn't be a one off boat.
