I'm looking into a used set of Imdmar manifolds and risers. Are they oem stock setup or are the performance style seeing if they will get me more hp or same as stock ones going onto a Mercruiser...

Correct I got the serial number off plastic cover on carb. Its not MPI I know that. The serial number can go both ways with Mag or non-mag. The cover only says 7.4/Bravo Thunderbolt ign. on it

I believe it says 7.4 Thunderbolt on cover. How much $ can I find 502mag for and what would I ask for my 454 complete unit? Is a Mag 454 fuel injected? Because mine has the 4 barrel on it.

How can I tell what motor it is I believe its a LX with thunderbold whatever that means. And how would I know if I have cast or forged internals? Motor is in 1998 boat Crownline.

Looking for ideas on upgrades where do I start. Dont want to go crazy but on this motor what would I start with heads, cam, etc. Dont want to get into bottom end until it pops. Its on a Crownline...

Well marina called found out fuel pump in VST is only pushing 22psi should be @40psi Pump need to be change about 1K$ .
Does anyone know if VST needle sticking would cause that problem too???

I'll ask him that, but it only happens when the engine is ran for about 30-40mins and when it sits overnite It starts right up and rans OK. If it was an injector clogged or whatever I heard it...
