a different approach

I did the same thing and got tired of the whole wood thing
Went to the local plastics shop bought a couple of sheets of PVC
used the wood as templates and then just screwed and glued the frames...

Hi:
The difference between disc and drum brakes as far as temperature comes from the fact that the disc pads are in constant contact with the rotors at all times.... there are no return springs...
