The 08 has factory probes in the exhaust, and will kill fuel if EGT's get high - someone finally built in a failsafe :)

Sorry new"b" here but check with gear vendor to see when they have one (overdrive unit) available - installed one on my uncles 2000 F450 with 4.88's and it dropped the 70mph rpm right at 400r's wich...
