Anyone tried the aftermarket Alpha drives from boat store online.com that sell for about $1,200? They say they are new, not rebuilt. Thanks.

I have a 1984 Wellcraft Scarab 21SS. It has an Alpha outdrive, S/N A376920. Can anyone tell me which model Alpha this is and what the gear ratio is? Thanks in advance.

The threads are shot on the vent hole of my Alpha 1. It is a 1984 and the original outdrive. Is there a repair kit available with a helicoil or something or can it be drilled out and a larger plug...
