After carefull consideration of all of the advice given here I (Sydwayz buddy) decided to go with the repairs to the head gasket. Turned out 4 injectors were bad as well so they are being fixed too....

I have a 2006 F250 with 105,000 miles and a 2006 F350 with 41,000 miles. Both had the EGR go bad around 40,000 miles but were covered under warranty. Other than that no problems.

If you are contemplating any overnight stays on the boat, go with the 30 OL. Ours sleeps two comfortably and I've had no problems with the liner construction.
