YEP, that's an Alpha SS lower, built in 1987,...

YEP, that's an Alpha SS lower, built in 1987, will bolt to an Alpha 1 upper, however, you need the short vertical shaft from an SS, which is no longer available from Merc.

Curious to know what max rpm can safely be run on an Alpha SS? Was reading an earlier post where he was running 5900-6000. I always thought they would not take much more than 5500 with 1.5 ratio....
