Forgot to mention that the two seatek diesels and trannies and fixed surface drives were within a few hundred pounds of the three 454 trs drivetrains so no waterline change...just a tad move forward...

weighed the seatek 10liter raw water cooled when i put them in...with zf 305a trannies..2000 lbs even each. Its not the weight of those big diesels its the cost.

i think the big 6" exhaust in front of the surface prop is about as good as it gets in a big boat...if you run high hp engines in a relatively light boat... like most of us do if you want to move...
