twin 496ho 500-600 rpm diffrence??

I have twin 2002 496ho and the port motor idles at 1000rpm when you first crank it and the other is at 600 rpm. when you get up and running the port motor is always about 500-600 more, you can bump...

When I changed plugs they looked good almost like new with good color. .didnt look lean or anything. .Both motors seem to be burning about the same

496ho help!

I have a 2002 496ho that ran fine when put up for winter..now after full service for this season want run past 3500 rpm..starts surging like running out of fuel and sounds like its spark knocking....

454 mag carbed timing??

I have a pair of carbed 454 mags with what looks to be merc thunderbolt distors and MSD marine boxes and Blaster coils..my question is will I still have timing advance modules on the distributors...
